What Is Milk?
Milk is a liquid produced by mammals through the milk creating organs. It is essentially used as food to feed the young that is unable to intake solid food.
There are all manner of Vertebrates that produce milk from cows, sheep to human. Milk contain important nutrients such as protein, fat and vitamin C. These ingredients, as well as providing food, help to protect the baby from infection and other disorders.
Certain types of milk from animals such as sheep and cows are consumed by humans. It is commonly used in beverages like tea and coffee in addition to many types of food. It is a rich source of nutrients such as calcium and Magnesium for example and helps the human diet.
Like any type of food, with excess consumption, there are also potential negative effects. Some people are lactose intolerant which can cause issues such as diarrhoea. And there has even been suggestions that diseases such as Parkinsins can be triggered through drinking cow's milk.
